Summary
When a routine scouting mission on the other side of an transreality rift goes wrong, Keith is taken prisoner by Intendant Orlain: a member of the Altean aristocracy bearing an uncanny resemblance to Keith's own Lance. Orlain is ruthless, bloodthirsty, and more different from Lance than he is similar, down to actually being interested in Keith. What's worse, the Intendant is hell-bent on breaking down his barriers one step at a time-- and since he looks just like the man Keith's in love with, that's getting harder and harder to resist.

A longfic version of It's So Insane The Things We Do In The Name Of Love, a smutty oneshot I posted a week or two ago. I'll be updating as I finish writing, but I have a decent track record with longfics in other fandoms (I did an almost 400k one a couple of years back), so I'm reasonably confident it'll be completed one day!

Summary
Vash catches up to him on the stairs without a word. Wolfwood ignores him until he’s able to get his door open—at which point he spares a glance, tries not to stare for too long, ignores how the roof of his mouth dries out when he meets Vash’s bright green eyes.
Wolfwood has never been able to suss him out, Vash. Do Plants even present in the same way? Not that it would matter—Wolfwood would never, not with Vash—but still… The thought crosses his mind.
“Don’t cause any trouble,” Wolfwood croaks.
“I’ll try,” Vash returns, “but Wolfwood—”
“See you in a week, Tongari.” Wolfwood pushes his cross in first, then throws himself after, slamming the door shut with perhaps more force than necessary. His fingers slide over the lock while he secures it, and then the dead bolt. Just can’t be too careful.
Tragically, he can still smell Vash outside the door. This fresh, slightly salty scent—woodsy and natural, something Wolfwood’s never smelled before.
