    "Everyone! What's happening?! Who-" before Finley could finish, another woman howled. And then another. Blind panic overcame Finley as she pulled at her binds. Then… right next to her. She turned her head, slowly, afraid to draw any attention to herself. There was a creature next to Thalia. Its top half resembled a human, with strong arms, a muscular torso and a handsome face. His lower half though … he had a tail, just like a fish or a dolphin. It was easily two meters long and cut through the water in the shoal like it wasn’t even there. A mix of emerald green and golden scales covered its body. They matched the one Thalia had around her neck perfectly. Finley blinked, barely believing her eyes. She'd heard stories, but never thought them to be true. Merfolk?
