Summary
The man puts his hand on Felix’s chest, his eyes bright and bordering on feverish, but he stands too solid to be out of it. There is too much solemnity in his gaze, too. It seems like that second of touch stretches out between them for aeons, the man’s fingers slowly but surely curling more into Felix’s shirt, as if trying to keep him close, to keep him safe?
“I love you, Lee Yongbok,” the man says softly. Felix’s breath gets stuck in his throat, his eyes widening as he lifts his hand to reach for the man’s, wanting to make sure these words weren’t a mistake, weren’t somehow directed at the wrong person, even though that is his name, and his official one, too, that not many people know.
Then, all of a sudden, the hand on his chest pushes him roughly backwards and the man whirls around to face the incoming doom.
This is how it ends.
