Summary
The first blood adoption took place in 1946. For years, High Lord Grindelwald has been perfecting his society where magic truly is might, and every witch and wizard under his purview is adopted under the banner of one of the Sacred Twenty-Eight. No halfbloods. No muggleborns. Only purebloods.
In all that time, no child has ever matched with House Ollivander. Then, a young brown-haired witch summons fiendfyre during the adoption ritual, giving Garrick Ollivander a new Heir and a chance of saving his Ancient and Noble house. Time is of the essence, as Hermione must survive her zenith: the by-product of the ritual which had been the death knell for all four of Ollivander's children.
Hogwarts has developed into a premier school specializing in Masteries, Apprenticeships, and Erudition with students enrolling after their OWLS, but no Ollivander has ever walked the hallowed halls. In a gambit to save his daughter, he enrolls her in Hogwarts to study under the masters with the desperate hope that she will be able to withstand the massive influx of elemental power that is her blood-right. Pureblood politics, accidental bonds, House rivalries, hidden motivations, and unknown histories further complicate the issue.
