this is a little thing i'm doing for fun so i hope you enjoy as well.
basically it's through hogwarts marauders era focusing mainly on friendships and such, and as they get older there will def be a lot of wolfstar, jily, & dorlene (i am still seeing if I will throw in a bit of jegulus & rosekiller depending on how i write them into the story and how canon complicit i go-- but you will def be seeing rosekiller in the background regardless)- I want it to at least go though their 7 years at hogwarts but i can't promise regular updates. I've written a bit so far so who knows though.
This is going to be mostly Remus centric, with a lot of Lily as well cuz i love her
I'll throw in a lot of other POVS probablyI'm going to try develop the characters well and not like make them completely different people! i haven't read the books in a lifetime tho so... ignore that.

The Sirius Black that Remus had loved was dead. He died in the possession of his family sometime over the summer, leaving little more than the other's body and fragments of his damaged soul as scraps for Remus and the Potters to care for. He was more marionette than boy, an automaton at most: He could move and do simple tricks like people could, but the movements weren't natural and there was often a hollow look behind his eyes- when not tasked with something and left unsupported, he was prone to collapse and difficult to repair.
While this Sirius would never be the same, Remus still loved the poor, broken imitation he had. It hurt to love Sirius, but Remus was accustomed to pain.
With the end of summer fast approaching and Sirius's progress remaining slow, Remus can't help but worry about Sirius's future. With more questions than answers, will Remus and the Potters be able to improve Sirius's condition enough to allow him to attend his final year at Hogwarts, or will his fate be left to the discretion of the doctors at St. Mungo's?

When James mentioned he wanted to spend the day before his wedding with them, both Remus and Sirius had been a bit befuddled by the favour asked. The thing is, when you are going to get married with your girlfriend of years during a time in which you have a good and healthy relationship with your family, the logical procedure would be spending said time with your father, right? Anyways, it's James Potter. Both were incapable of saying 'no' to anything asked while those stupidly deep brown eyes framed by those long and thick eyelashes were looking straight at them. It completely changed the meaning of puppy dog eyes and made it doe eyes.
Or, Sirius and Remus try to help James relax the day before his wedding while Peter is exceptionally efficient in the background.
