Summary
Eustass Kidd was most definitely and certainly fucked.
After the last time, he knew, deep down, that he was screwed. He was overflowing, bursting at the seams. And yet, Law had told him not to say anything. Maybe that was the other captain’s way of letting him down easy. Maybe he just wanted to stay as fuck buddies. Maybe Kidd had been misreading the connection he felt all along.
And so, Kidd said nothing. He was metaphorically bleeding out with how hard he was biting his tongue.

Summary
Trafalgar Law was starting to get on everyone’s nerves.
Of course the Heart pirates were used to their captain’s… rather prickly demeanour. It was a common occurrence to be met with a glare when approaching the captain, particularly if you were intruding on his space or interrupting him when he was concentrating or had his nose buried in a book. Sullen silences and general grumpiness were par for the course on the Polar Tang.
The crew had learned to cope with it. That is, until now.

Summary
Trafalgar Law knew /exactly/ how he had gotten into this situation.
Sure it was overwhelming, and he was liable to lose his mind if it went on for much longer, but he was at least deliriously aware of the progression of events that led to this situation.
But surely no one could blame him for losing his composure a bit when /this/ was what Kidd had in store for him.
