"You’ll get drenched," Isagi frowned.
Sae shrugged, walking beside him as though the rain didn’t bother him. "I’ll be fine."
He said he’d be fine.
But the next morning…
"Mi amor…"
Isagi stirred at the whiny voice beside him. His blurry vision cleared, and he turned to find Sae lying in bed, his face slightly flushed, his eyes heavy with fever.
"Yoichi… I’m sick," Sae rasped out, lips forming a dramatic pout.
Isagi blinked. Then blinked again.
"No way. You? Sick?"
"It’s over for me," Sae declared, his voice hoarse as he weakly reached out for Isagi’s hand. "I won’t make it. Tell Rin… I tolerated him. Tell my team… they were lucky to witness my brilliance."
Isagi snorted. "You’re ridiculous."
