Summary
Jon doesn't have it in him to destroy Peter Lukas, and Peter is a sore loser. Instead of running back to the Tundra like Jonah expects, Peter bashes Jon over the head and brings him out to sea with him. Apocalypse averted, world saved, and most importantly Jonah Magnus punished for stacking the deck during their wager.
Peter never had a pet before, but he's certain that looking after the Archivist is exactly the same thing. He just needs to keep his new cat fed and entertained. How hard could it be?

Right out of university Jon's run out of time to run from the Web. The only way he knows to escape one domain is to give yourself to another, and he's always been good at being alone.
He really wasn't imagining the Lukas family would take him in at all, let alone arrange him to marry some smarmy ass named Peter Lukas.

Summary
Carlos is a properly weird person. He’s overly chatty, has apparently been conditioned into being wary of libraries and writing utensils of all things, he is still somehow leaving little trails of sand wherever he goes when he wanders the archives, and just the other morning he described the sunset as ‘quiet, but beautiful’. But still, seeing him absently thumbing a screwdriver in his hand, a faraway look on his face as he mumbles something about regrets and missing a person-shaped part of his heart, Jon can oddly relate.
Funny how life is sometimes.
Jon is having a normal morning- as normal as mornings can be when you’re employed by an eldritch manifestation of fear itself- when a man comes stumbling out of a door that definitely hadn’t been there a second before. Things only get weirder from there.

Summary
After Bella’s death, Arthur Lester is left with a newborn. However, he’s… very busy, he swears, so he hires a live-in nanny. John Doe is certainly capable and talks about his many years of experience in the field. That's an awfully strange name, perhaps, but nothing of concern. It's good that he certainly isn’t hiding anything.
John is on the run from his rich father and has never held a baby in his life. Not until Faroe at least who seems to take a benevolent pity on him and is rather calm at their first introduction. He just needs to keep his head and not get too attached to in the meantime. Easy.
Eventually Parker Yang finds himself wrapped up in this makeshift family. With an adorable kid and her two er- damn they're pretty good looking aren’t they? Fuck. Well he’ll figure out how he fits here… hopefully.
