Summary
It's eight months since Pittfest, and Jack has been talked into being on call for day shift, by the sneakiest, and most unscrupulous argument Gloria could have made.
It's for Robby.
Naturally, that means Jack caves instantly.
So after his shift, Jack heads for the on-call room to catch a nap, only to find Robby there, killing time and pissed off over being forced to use some of his long overdue PTO. As Jack banters with his best friend, trying to maintain the illusion that friendship was all he felt, Robby says something that could change everything.
Before Jack can say a word, Robby bolts, and Jack is left reeling.

Summary
Dean is thoroughly sloshed at a party, happy and relaxed, though he can't quite figure out why Charlie is laughing at him for saying Cas is pretty. Unfortunately, Cas retreats to Meg, and Dean can't handle seeing the way Cas blushes with Meg smiling up at him. So he calls an Uber to take him home.
While on the way there, Cas Facetimes him, demanding to know why he'd left the party, and Dean drunkenly explains it was just too much tonight, so he was going home.
Cas points out that the party was at Dean and Charlie's place, so where the fuck was he going?!

Summary
Lifting himself just enough to be heard, Robby shook his head. “It’s not like that, Jack. No evidence needed.”
“It sure as hell looks like it’s like that,” Jack said, his anger bleeding through despite his best effort to keep himself in check.
Robby looked directly at Jack for the first time since Jack had arrived. His eyes held a mix of shame and pain, and Jack was furious at the thought that somehow Robby thought he had to excuse the person who’d done this to him. But before Jack could say as much, Robby rocked him to his core by saying, “I asked for this.”

Beautiful fic with self-destructive Robby seeking out rough sex as punishment for his failures, calling Jack for help when it goes too far. Jack determined to show Robby he's worthy of good things, including forgiving himself. Confession that made me cry, then sex that made me sweat. All the kudos!

Summary
"IPA," Robby called again, a reminder.
"For that, I'm getting you a Bavarian wheat beer, you prissy fuck." But Jack bypassed the respectable Penn Pilsner and grabbed a pack of their hopped-to-shit IPA, hating himself a little for giving in...but it would make Robby smile.
The door banged open, spinning Jack around, senses instantly on alert as a guy rushed in, black bandana tied around his face, pistol pointing at Sal as he shouted. "Open the register! Now!"

Summary
An unexpected break-up means Robby ends up going to Pittfest with Jake after all. He asks Abbot to cover half his shift, and Abbot is happy to agree—surely half a day shift can't be nearly as chaotic as the usual night shift. Everything that happens later changes his perspective on plenty of things, from just how crazy the day shift can get, to where exactly he wants to stand with Robby.

Summary
Jack isn’t the only one staring. In the aftermath of Whitaker’s offer, Robby seems momentarily shell-shocked, and Dana whispers, “Oh, my God,” softly behind her computer.
A nauseating surge of emotion rushes through Jack’s system. He feels— stupid, like he should run over there and take Robby by the shoulders and lick him in front of everyone. All he wants is for people to know Robby is his.
Looking towards Robby, feeling that panging throb of mine, mine, mine, he has to actually stop himself from hurtling the desk and biting him and marking his territory, and what the actual hell is that all about?
or: five times jack was jealous over robby, and one time he learned that he didn’t need to be.

Summary
“Cas?” He takes a couple of steps in and Cas turns to smile at him, the kind of gummy ones that are Dean’s favorites. “Hey sweetheart, what have you been up to?”
He looks around at the display and feels his stomach rumble. “Hello, Dean. I know you were thinking stew tonight, but I made some other arrangements. I hope that is alright.”

Bookmarker's Notes
Omg finally someone addresses Deans legitimate food insecurity trauma, and beautifully! Dom Cas is perfectly soft and loving and protective and encouraging, and Dean is anxious and complicated and still has doubts about his worth but he's learning that Cas means what he says, and he lets himself be vulnerable. Chef's kiss. Perfection.
