He starts walking for the gate, but that tense heat in him stops him, makes him turn back. “You know what?’ he calls. “I don’t even like pop music.” When he realizes how petty that sounds, he spins back around and hurries down the path, out the gate, and onto the road.

Summary
After the loss of his eye in an unfortunate incident, Aemond has decided to dedicate his life to ridding the world of evil. Now serving as a priest and as an exorcist, Father Targaryen is forced to confront the demons of his past when he is the only one left to deliver Lucerys Velaryon from evil.
An overwhelming pain courses through the left side of Aemond’s face, the throbbing sensation spreading to the crown of his head. He stumbles in agony, his left hand reaching up to clutch at his empty eye socket and his right hand reaching up to firmly grip the right side of his head.
“Do you want me to kiss it better?” Lucerys asks with mockery in his voice.
A breeze enters through the open window, sending a chill down Aemond’s spine. Lucerys stares back at him, as if he sees through Aemond, his hazel eyes sparkling much brighter than they usually do. His mouth, dark red with all the chewing Lucerys had done against his lips, falls slightly open, his two white front teeth peeking out.
The Devil is not ugly, no. He has large hazel eyes and wine-stained lips. The Devil has the pretty face of Aemond’s pretty nephew.
