    The war was over, Japan was able to recover and navigate the fallout of the biggest paradigm shift since the dawn of quirks. Izuku Midoriya, known globally as All Might's successor was seen sacrificing his quirk to stop All of One and Tomura Shigaraki, saving quite possibly the planet and putting himself into a near-comatose state from his injuries. The denizens of Japan made it no secret they owed him their thanks and were keen to express this sentiment.

    As cool and exciting as the first Quirks were, some wanted to use their powers for evil, and they plunged the world into chaos. But from that chaos, one man emerged: All as One, a hero with the power to give and take quirks at will. He stabilized the entire world almost by himself, amassing an unstoppable arsenal of Quirks by either taking them from those who would misuse them, or being gifted them by those who were no longer in a condition to use them effectively. And he’s spent the past century or so as Japan’s undisputed number one Hero, saving everyone with a smile. Of course, Shigaraki Tomura had something of a unique perspective on all of that, given that All as One was his dad, and all he wanted was to make him proud by becoming a Hero who saved people with a smile, just like him.

    Essentially, this is every "What if X was a villain?" fic taken to its logical extreme. Every Hero is a Villain, and every Villain is a Hero.

    Kaina Tsutsumi knew she was supposed to be dead.

    The explosion quirk had hurt so bad. As she realized that All for One set a trap in her, she prayed to whatever gods that were out there that Izuku would beat him.

    Only to wake up in front of him in his room. He also looked a smidge younger. On top of that, she looked like a ghost. Literally. With 4 other, partially recognizable ghosts around her, surrounding the young man in his bed.

    Or, 5 dead guys wake up as a Dark Shadow-esque quirk combo for Izuku. They... don't exactly get along.

    Hawks thought he was the final product of the Hero Public Safety Commission's secret hero program. Once he finds out the Commission has been training his replacements, he confiscates all four kids. Does Hawks have any experience with taking care of kids? Nah. But it has to be better than being raised as a Commission hero. Also, he has help, thanks to Tokoyami, his own fellow pros, the staff and students at U.A., and the newly-pardoned Lady Nagant who has decided to take her big sister role seriously.

    Hawks isn't used to having a family. Now it seems like his is ever-increasing.
