His mind wanders backwards to a time before Sauron, before the forest — even before Morgoth.When he wakes again he is surrounded by light. And Galadriel. She is asleep on his arm and he doesn't have the heart to wake her. When she does wake he learns she has saved his life and that it seems to annoy her that he continues to refuse to die.
One sexually charged dinner later, he gets to do something about his wish to die with her knife at his throat.

A swig of the mulled wine manages to get unpleasantly lodged in Halbrand's windpipe. “Oh,” her eyes narrow at the thinly disguised laughter in the wet of his cough; other patrons around them turning to investigate the source of such a noise. “Oh—Galadriel.”
Or: Galadriel is a 5,000 year old virgin, and Halbrand decides to change that.

Or, Tav gives Raphael the crown, gets tangled up with him, and the most toxic, unhealthy relationship ensues.

Tav broke their agreement by handing the Crown of Karsus to Mystra instead of Raphael. Not only that, but she also robbed his house and killed his incubus. Raphael is patient and he is determined to get his revenge. Tav gets chained to the House of Hope with constructs similar to those of Prince Orpheus'. When her friends eventually come to save her and brings him back his Orphic Hammer, Raphael will kill each and every one of them in front of her before claiming what is rightfully his: her soul...
…Tav isn't too bothered. She will figure something out eventually. Until then she just has to find a way to live peacefully with a devil.
