A poor- not poor as in the woe is me kinda way but in the no money kinda way- pre transition girl approaches Amy off the clock. She begs for a transition, she knows she'll be in danger if she did it the normal way she'd need to pass even in the rough stages or she's scared E88 will kill her. Amy does *not* want to do it, but when Milly tells her that she's willing to leave full creative control over her body to her... well, just one time couldn't hurt right?

Samantha Stewart is not the Simurgh. This is obvious.
It is also obvious that she is not one of the world's most powerful telekinetics, precogs, postcogs, Masters, and Tinkers. Sam is just an ordinary human with an ordinary job trying to live an ordinary life where she may or may not be mentally coerced into transforming into a fifteen-foot-tall angel and decimating a major population center every now and then.
It is fairly obvious that she needs therapy, though. Losing her job doesn't help, and neither does getting caught in the middle of a violent cape battle. But maybe, just maybe, this means that Sam finally has the opportunity to do some good for a change.Soar is heavily inspired by Learning to Sing and lightly inspired by Case.
