The thing about Jasper was that it was small. There were maybe a hundred people living there, tops, and being out in the middle of the desert didn’t exactly put them in a prime position for exciting events. So like with any small town, when something noteworthy did happen, it was the only thing anybody talked about.
And the only thing anyone was talking about today was the shiny red convertible that had just rolled in.

Miko gets kidnapped, but it's fine, because the guy who's kidnapping her doesn't want to hurt her or anything. He just needs her help getting his husband out of jail. He'd do it himself, but he's a giant robot truck, so he can't exactly walk up to the guy at the impound lot and hand over his license and registration, and unfortunately she's the only human he knows that he doesn't think will immediately turn him over to the other giant robot trucks (and cars, and motorcycles, etc.).

Starscream must decide where his loyalties lie and how much of Megatron's abuse and dangerous way of leading he's willing to put up with. Cliffjumper is confused as to why Starscream spared him but also gets a small glimpse into what kind of things go on behind the scenes in the Decepticon command.
