The Madrigal family is screwed up. They've done so much damage to the people they love. And as much as they want to fix it, they have no real idea how to go about doing that. And they try, but healing is far from linear. Everyone is on a journey of getting better and growing.
Sometimes they relapse. Sometimes they straight up fail. Miscommunications still happen, but for the most part, they want to do better. That should be all that matters, right?
