Eijun isn’t feeling like himself. Ever since he hit Shirakawa’s helmet in the match against Inashiro, his mental health has just kept spiraling down. Something isn’t right, and he can’t figure out what. His own mind and thoughts are like an enemy, the team feel far away and the support is nowhere to be seen.
During practice one day, he can’t keep up with his panicked thoughts and collapses.
It’s not only the yips fighting him, it’s also his, apparently, second nature. He can’t tell the team, can’t be of any bigger burden than he already is.The worst part is that he needs help, and he don’t feel like he can ask anyone for it, or trust in the kindness that is shown.

“What do you mean?” Kazuya's brows furrow.
“Your missing button," Kuramochi clarifies.

“What does that have to do with anything? Sawamura wanted it for some reason.”
The next stage post graduation for Miyuki Kazuya is full of unexpected ups and downs and twists and turns, all thanks to a certain pitcher that is one Sawamura Eijun.
