Wild and Twilight both recoiled.
A Hylian-shaped figure crouched at the bottom, its lanky arms wrapped around its equally lanky legs. It was wrapped in some loose bandages, the skin visible in the gaps a dusty and disgusting gray. Its face didn't look… Hylian, though. It had two depressions on its face, meant for eyes. Instead of a mouth, it just had a hole filled with teeth.
Wild knew they should've left the coffins alone. He was about to turn and let the others know the body was there, but a low groan stopped his words in his throat."

Zelda had requested his assistance, so Link set out to learn what he could to about these strange new threats. Encountering heroes from the past was a surprise, but it gave him hope to have friends by his side.
He did his best to hold onto that hope, but that is harder than it should be when his first impression isn’t all that great.
When all is said and done, Link - Wild - must decide if the Heroes of the Forgotten Past are worth opening up to.

Hyrule has a secret. A secret from everyone he knows, from his brothers in the Chain. There is a curse on his blood, a curse that calls to monsters and wants to resurrect the King of Evil. A curse that can render Hyrule completely useless.
He keeps it a secret. He doesn't tell anyone. He has a medicine and can keep his curse at bay.
It won't become an issue. He can fight it back. He just needs to keep going, and everything will be alright.

The Hero of the Wild’s scrambled memories are no secret. His feelings for Twilight, however, he’s willing to take to his grave. Wild just can’t shake the feeling that they’ve met before somehow, despite being from different eras in history.
