Summary
Fics & ficlets I’ve had running through my head and want to put out in the ether. Mostly Matt whump with a little silliness down the road (esp as I drift more into Avengers crossovers).
Mostly stand-alone, though others in the series can add context for character interactions as that builds. But think of it more as snapshots over time instead of a continuous narrative.
Current theory is that it's how I process my own sensitive senses and chronic pain. But I'm at the point I keep cycling these in my head, re-editing them, and it's becoming a problem for focus and sleep. I'm hoping that getting them out of my head will help me stop #@!&ing thinking about them finally.
I feel like I’ve read just about every DD fanfic on this site at this point, and I'm sometimes unsure if my ideas are actually original versus just an amalgamation of all I’ve read Frankensteined together. To that effect, if you notice something is super similar to something else you've read, then my brain probably looped it in to my own story, so please let me know in the comments so I can take a look to see if I remember it, then credit it under 'remix/inspired by' accordingly.

Dick looks up at him, Babs’ rapid typing slowing to a stop. He narrows his eyes, and he responds. “Yeah.”
The man nods, head still tilted, as if hearing something far away. “So, what firm you two at? Haven’t heard you before.”
Babs scrutinizes him before responding. “We aren’t at any. New to the neighborhood. You?”
“I’m Matt Murdock. Of Nelson, Murdock and Page.”
Or: Babs and Dick get yeeted into the MCU following an incident with a D-list magic user, overthrow (part) of the government, gain a sort-of protégé, steal from a wizard, and become badass lawyers. Not necessarily in that order.
Or: or: Babs and Dick canonically have law degrees, my brain doesn’t know how to shut up, and so I wrote this.

Ahead, the guy at the counter finishes up, spinning on his heel with his laundry bag in hand. Peter freezes as he takes in the man’s face: perfectly chiseled jawline, defined cheekbones, blue eyes, and textured skin that hints at some serious burns. He’s staring, he needs to stop staring at his face, that’s rude. Peter makes the mistake of trailing his gaze down to his arms, which are so muscular. God help him.
He’s so distracted he barely notices the man smiling back, clearly amused.
“See something you like, Bambi?” The low timbre breaks his ogling.
Peter immediately snaps his eyes back up to those baby blues, which was also a terrible idea. Peter needs to sleep, desperately. He’s clearly starting to lose his mind.
“Uhh” He splutters rather eloquently.
The man quirks a non existent eyebrow, but Peter gets the idea. “It’s rude to stare.”
“I’m sorry! I didn’t mean—it’s not that I was staring in a rude way, I mean…”
God, Felicia’s going to roll her eyes so hard when she hears about this, and MJ’s going to laugh until she cries.
“Oh yeah? Then how exactly were you staring?” The man’s lips curl in a playful smirk, which is so incredibly distracting.
