Summary
The faulty guardian of Iotari Spire has been destroyed, and work can begin on restoring power to the Warp Gate. It will take a few days at least for it to be usable again, a few days before three of the people who saw the moon blink can depart from Angel's Gate for the tidally locked jungle world of Esphesia. A few days for some of them to spend with their grief, and some of them to spend with something else.

Summary
Charles hadn't realized how lovely Primrose was until she had to start wearing a veil to hide the mark the murmuration had left on her. It took two months and an expedition to Oldfaire where they all almost died multiple times for him to work up the courage to ask "If we make it back up to the surface alive, would you like to go to dinner with me?"
The play went well (he bought out every seat in the box for privacy). They'd made it to the restaurant with little incident (apart from the panther). The gauzy drapes around each booth in the restaurant(and the bill was enough to cover every silk thread) hid the misunderstanding of his life from any observers, and that too, somehow, had gone well. All he had to do now was walk her home, and then he would have successfully done all of the things you were supposed to do on a date.Series

After unsuccessfully infiltrating a suburban séance in The Sidle and storming out with a stolen history book, the Circle of Blood and Water have finally managed to track down the cause of the mysterious deaths of war widows around Newfaire. At the edge of the unfinished memorial to those lost in the Electric Event, Detective Morgan and Amelia Dunelly told the less stealthy members of their circle to stay put while they snuck up to the culprits to put a stop to their poorly researched and misguided ritual.

Self-destructive misanthropy. The inherent homoeroticism of only defining yourself by the acts of violence you commit for others. Doing the right thing for the wrong reason, and the wrong things for even worse reasons.
A series of short experiments with language. Playing around with tenses, points of view, formats, and various prosaic and poetic styles. Centered around a skrunkly little bastard who thinks compassion is something you grow out of both showing and needing. Not updated in chronological order.

There’s another cheer from downstairs, louder this time, Lomadia’s voice yelling, “Get in there!” audible over Honeydew’s roar and Xephos’ whoop. Someone’s scored, again, and Will only gets that half-second’s warning before the inevitable tweets and texts and instant messages crash over him like a tidal wave.
(In which there is a big game on in town, Will accidentally drowns himself in the city, and Kirin is there to catch him. Xephos is not pleased about any of this in the slightest.)
