Summary
Captains Marko Ramius and Bart Mancuso discover early on that they work well together. They also understand there might be more to it. The question is: with their baggage, the CIA *and* the US Navy breathing on their necks, and a deadly submarine they don't completely trust even in the hands of the good guys, where do they go from here?
On one side: an aggressive, maverick, fascinating ex-Soviet who will do everything to reach his goal, but might be stuck between his past and a new love. On the other: that hard-to-resist American commander who needs to weigh everything in the offer, and has so much to lose. Also starring: well-meaning, sheltered, romantic-at-heart Jack Ryan, Jonesy, his sonar and his Welcome to America playlist, a lame goose named Gertrude, letters written in a sub, Admiral Jim Greer inadvertently turning into a CIA priest, more than one ex-wife, and asides about ping-pong.
There's one fairly graphic sex scene but the most explicit parts can be skipped if needed.

From the moment Silver pointed a pistol at Flint's head to James and Thomas's escape from the plantation, there was no renouncement.
A take at what happens after the end because I love these two (and assorted characters) too much. Posted as a WIP because what I already wrote amounts to [edit] over 110K [re-edit] omg over 180K I think? and I can't sit on it anymore. If you're finding this back after the (second) long hiatus, chapters 4 and 5 aren't new anymore but there's a brand new chapter 6, and now even a chapter 7 where they're getting very very wet and someone (else) falls in love.

At the eve of sailing to Charles Town, Silver decides he needs to dig into the relationship between Captain Flint and Miranda Barlow. He might get more than he hoped for in the process - but so might Miranda Barlow and James Flint.
Or : what happens when my love for Miranda collides with my need to see Flint get laid sometime between London and the plantation.
The fic is finished at c. 20,000 words, I only need to tweak some more the later chapters. Posting should go smoothly!

Summary
What's left of the Resistance has left Crait and the Falcon Millenium is creeping through backward routes. Meanwhile, Leia Organa has many torches to pass down, one to take up, and one to extinguish forever.
Multichapter, one POV per chapter.
First chapter up is Poe, if you know me you know why.
Rey is now up! Still looking for teachers, but maybe she doesn't need them that much.
Finn being uploaded! Got carried away with him and since the chapter was twice the size of the previous ones I split it in two. Garments are being passed around, the plot doesn't thicken but at least there's some action, and Finn learns about the many kinds of love.Next: Leia and Kylo Ren, in that order. And a last chapter for the one that remains, you can have a guess at who it will be if you feel like it.

I decided to write this after being OUTRAGED by the number of highly problematic and abusive fanfics I see on this site! Honestly I shouldn't even post it here at all, since AO3 is complicit in LITERAL SEX TRAFFICKING and ABUSE by allowing just anyone to post whatever they want. But it's the best website for posting fic. What am I supposed to do, raise money to pay for servers and use AO3's entirely, 100% open source code to start a new site that upholds REAL MORALITY? Anyways here's my fanfic. If you comment on this fic with ANY NEGATIVE OPINION it's ABUSE and I will call the FBI. I'm only 28, so if you comment on this fic at all and you're older than me, it's GROOMING and I will call the FBI.
