It’s 1959, Paul McCartney is 17 and lives with his dad Jim and brother Mike.
Jim disapproves that Paul is throwing his life away for music and hates “That Lennon Boy” (the feeling is mutual) but pretends to tolerate John when he’s over at the house with Paul.
Paul continues his rebellion streak and ends up getting his ears pierced, which causes John to question himself and his sexuality.One day, when the McLennon relationship is established, Jim comes home early one night when the boys are in Paul's room. Jim cracks open the door to catch Paul on his knees- sucking John off.
Jim doesn’t say anything but the next day, after John leaves, he tells his son that he refuses to have a queer for a son and that he’s taking Paul to a conversion therapy camp in the summer.
Paul breaks down and tells John after about two weeks of trying (and failing) to talk to John about it.
Paul and John do their best to try and work through it.This is an AU where The Beatles are already formed with George and Ringo and The Quarrymen days died when Paul and George joined. So please don't scream at me about accuracy.
