“Dear, language.” The man admonished like Lucifer was a child, looking up at him over his glasses with a grin that would be considered down-right predatory if it weren’t for the fact that he was still giggling. “You do know He could be watching, don’t you?”
Lucifer huffed, picking himself up with only half a struggle, his heel skidding on a stray piece of ice before it found its purchase. He straightened, fixing his coat.
“Right.” He replied absently, feeling the imprint of the crucifix burning through the thick doors on his back like a cattle brand. “Ri- What? Who- who are you?”
The man hummed, his eyes crinkling with it, head canting one way — but he did not respond.

The rusting gears of his ticking existence strike right twice a day. Once, when that asshole from work does his stupid assholey schtick in a way that makes Lucifer feel something for once. The second time when he does it again, and Lucifer wonders just how creative he can get with office supplies.
Scissors have more than one use, after all...
Oh well, murder will have to wait until after he sees what this new band on the scene is all about.
