Summary
Akaza really couldn't care less about whether or not it was a 'good idea' to take the Flame Hashria. And he certainly didn't care that when asked, Rengoku had foolishly said that no, he did not want to be a demon. Even more so, he didn't care to ask any further questions on the topic because, unlike the rest of the demon slayers that he'd encountered, Rengoku had a fighting spirit that called to him, so it would be pointless to ask more questions. After all, Akaza already knew what he must do and nothing, and no one would stop him.

“You’ve forgotten to escort me,” she said primly, falling into step with him so smoothly that anyone looking would have been tricked into thinking she’d been walking with him all along. It almost tricked Alastor himself.
“I didn’t forget.”
“Hm. I expected better from you.”
He glanced around surreptitiously. No one and no cameras were within earshot. “What, my continued blind obedience? You can’t be that idiotic.”
“I expected—” She cut herself off sourly. “Oh, never mind."

He should have known better.In which Loki, Bruce, and Valkyrie are stranded on an unfamiliar planet after leaving the Statesman in what was supposed to be a simple mission. Unfortunately, the past has a funny way of rearing its head just when you least expect it.
