Summary
Jean was alone. Hours ago he had been dropped off at the airport by Fox’s nurse and boarded the plane to LA to join his new team, his new owners, the USC Trojans. He did not bother hoping they would be kind or a major improvement over the Ravens, he knew how this worked. Despite the assurances of Renee, Kevin and Abby he knew that a broken thing like him would have no place among the Trojans. He resigned himself to the fact that his treatment the Trojans would only be marginally better than the Ravens. After all, a team could not function and succeed without the harsh discipline of the Master and Riko, the Foxes’ win had to be a miracle and a fluke. He was certain that the Foxes were an exception to the rules, exy teams had to function like the Ravens they just had to. It went double for a team as good as the Trojans.
Follows Jeremy and Jean's life starting immediately after Jean lands in LA to join the Trojans.Series

Summary
On his first day, Eddie sees the ghost before he meets him.
There is a boy, younger than Christopher but not by much, who runs around the station like it’s a playground. For a second, while Eddie is pulling a shirt over his head, he thinks the boy is real and someone ought to be watching out for him because a fire station is no place for a kid that young to play unsupervised.
And then the boy, pale, skinny and too frail for his age, passes through an exiting member of C shift like wind through a plastic bag. A ghost.
“Who the hell is that?”
Eddie watches as the ghost – just a fucking kid, really – whips his head around to the voice. His face lights up and Eddie’s heart sinks because how cruel can this world be?
He turns around and Eddie is struck. The man is strong and broad, all blue eyes and defined features. If it weren’t for the splotch of color above his eyebrow, Eddie would think that the man and the little boy standing at his side were genetic matches.
OR Eddie Diaz can see ghosts — that’s nothing new. The little boy following around his new coworker is a different story.

“You know, you can’t avoid me forever,” Eddie says from somewhere over his shoulder, and every fucking feeling that Buck has been shoving down starts to bubble over.
“‘Hey, Evan?’” he asks in disbelief. “‘Hey, Evan?’ Are you fucking kidding me, Eddie?”
Eddie flushes. “I didn’t know you were going by Buck now.”

Bobby's parting, dying words still echoed in his mind almost constantly. Every step he took was accompanied with Bobby's voice saying:
You're going to be okay, Buck. Remember that. They're going to need you. I love you, kid.
When Buck went to the church, he prayed for some sort of salvation for not living up to Bobby's words.
