He was antisocial at best, avoidant at worst. He didn’t know if his father talked about him. After all, everyone knew of Xiao’s name, so it would very much destroy his father’s mortal persona. He didn’t want to get in his way, or cause any trouble.

The baby dragon leans into his ministrations, idly flicking its tongue to taste the air.
~What is a name?~He laughs, ~ Something other’s call to address you ~
The dragon waits a moment, calculating its answer.
~Then I have no name.~
Breaking the quiet, Venti exclaims, his voice echoing around the chamber. “Let’s find you a name. It is one of life’s pleasures to be called upon.” He stands, brushing off the debris clinging to his stockings. “Why you must have a name!”
