In a world where people have gained the powers of Gods and Goddesses from multiple religions, beliefs, and races, there would either be chaos or control. You stood your ground in the middle as a citizen who had yet to be bestowed any sort of power. While there were many like you, that didn't stop them from trying to be on top of the food chain they had little stance in. You never wanted to play a part in this other-worldly battle; You always wanted to stand on the sidelines and watch it all from afar.

You(the reader) originally thought this nightguard(read: janitor) job sucked. But hey at least the town was nice, the tourist were easily fooled, but the aquarium was decent and fun to go to.
