Barriss had fallen, now she plummets.
The Jedi are dead, the Force is silent, and Barriss has been rotting away in a cell for Force only knows how long until someone called the Grand Inquisitor pay her a visit.

But then the Grand Inquisitor asked a question no one had asked her before.
“If you could go back would you do it again?”
“No.”
Barriss doesn’t even need to think about it.
At this, the Grand Inquisitor tilts his head in surprise. “I’ve read your files Offee. You do not strike me as someone that makes impulsive decisions. Methods like this are not one a being chooses to use lightly. Why the change of heart?”
“Because nothing changed,” Barriss all but spits.

Summary
Five years after the Clone Wars ended and the Galactic Empire formed Ahsoka Tano is still adjusting to her position as Fulcrum, leader and spy for the Rebellion, when her life gets a thousand times more complicated. Barriss Offee, a close friend who framed Ahsoka for bombing of the Jedi Temple, comes crashing back into Ahsoka's life as an Inquisitor.
Barriss claims to be on the same side as Ahsoka only so deep undercover no one knows she's a Rebellion supporter. Only time will tell if Barriss is telling the truth or if she's trust worthy.
To bad the Universe doesn't seem care about that and they're basically stuck with each other.

“Don’t you get it? We broke her! We tore apart the bond that tied our souls with her!"
Mira flinched under the intensity of Zoey’s gaze, guilt pooling in her stomach, "We thought we were protecting ourselves..."
Zoey's hands shook as she ran them through her hair.
“P- protecting ourselves?" She huffed out a laugh, "Baby, look at her! Look at what we did! She's alone and it's because of us!"
A heavy silence fell. Zoey's voice dropped, raw and trembling.
"I... I can't... I haven’t felt her in so long, Mir. Neither have you. And it’s been like that for weeks. Weeks. Or have you forgotten and just gotten used to her not being there anymore?"
Mira froze.
“Zoey… I…” Her voice cracked, small and desperate.
She was interrupted, tears spilling freely from Zoey’s eyes, words scrambling together in hiccups.
“I don’t know how to fix it because you two always end up fighting each other and leaving me alone… and that emptiness just keeps getting more obvious.”
(OR - a post-canon story of the 3 month hiatus with HUNTR/X, taking a realistic approach on how rumi's secret unveiled by jinu affected the trio after gwi-ma's defeat.)

They deserve to live and grow old together, to be happy, to live their lives however they please after they’ve given up so much to protect the Honmoon.

Rumi froze.
She tapped the video, replaying. And there, she could see it. Mira’s arm— low, angled toward her seat, vanishing out of frame. Doing a mental check, it was exactly where Rumi remembered: resting tentatively against the edge of her seat, fingertips brushing close enough that she’d felt a phantom warmth on her thigh the whole ride.
