Summary
Upon a towered tomb of corpses, a God rots in ethereal light.
The Tarnished, victorious and brazen, has made promises to the most unlikely of companions. However, when the last of the pureblood knight's falls to mortal injury, the Tarnished is forced to depart from the Realm of Shadow in search of healing. Enamoured by goals of his own, Thiollier is left to witness the departure of his sole companions. With his promise achieved, and vengeance laid to rest for his lady, Thiollier is determined to return to St. Trina and tell her of their successes atop Enir-Ilim.
However, the journey is long and arduous back to St. Trina's grotto. And things are not as they were in the Land of Shadow. Will Thiollier be able to come to terms with all that has changed before him? Or will he fall victim to his own poisonous concoctions?
A Fic in which Thiollier lives and St. Trina is granted another chance at life through newfound personhood. Portraying their journey to the Lands Between and what they encounter. As well as their own developing relationship as the unwanted contend with the need between them.
