After this hotshot celebrity fires him, Will loses his job. All whilst this happens, Will keeps having dreams about Mike Brave and himself, telling his sister and best friend, Jane and Robin, about these dreams.
On the flip side, Mike Brave has been seeing a stranger in his dreams whom he has fallen for. The thing is that he doesn't believe he knows the guy. So when he gets invited to a reality show that's kept secret in production; that he doesn't know that he's in, because his manager had signed him up without him knowing. It's a dating show called "Shooting for the Stars", where fans of said celebrities get a chance to get close to their celebrity crush without knowing who they're talking to. The fans are kept in the dark until they finally meet up for the date on the 7th day. The celebrity knows the whole deal.
But what Mike doesn't know is that the person in his dream and the one he's texting with every day is the same.
