Jayce locked up, paralyzed where he hung.

Held captive by a Chem-Baron after traversing the Undercity at the prompt of a ransom note, Jayce Giopara weighs the price of betrayal — Would the potential of Piltover's fall from grace be worth seeing Viktor just one last time?

Summary
Until Viktor takes another inhale, and the world spins on its axis once more.
In the back of his throat, both dazzling and perplexing in its familiarity, there’s suddenly an explosion of a very well-known taste. It has burned all the way down from his nostrils, sending sparks of heat down his body and making his mouth flood with saliva out of pure reflex, but Viktor truly doesn’t know if he can trust what his perception is telling him. He ponders, for a moment, if he’s imagining things all of a sudden, if the shock of his abrupt transformation or the sudden rush of battle are doing something unexpected to his undead brain-
But then his eyes find Jayce’s expression, and Viktor realizes that his senses are not compromised, that there’s no mistaking the sweet scent that’s overpowering even Vander’s anger-infused sweat.
Lust.
(Jayce's appetite for Viktor never wavers, not even when confronted with his partner's most inhuman form.)

Summary
What is left between them after the conflict is over, after everything is said and done and they remain alive yet changed in a strange new place? As they walk miles and miles, alone yet together, and Jayce is still Jayce and Viktor is anything but himself? How can they move past what was, rebuild something new, become something more finally as the last of the walls and the canyons that kept them from the truth of what they are and what they mean to each other are broken down and crossed?
Viktor doesn't know, cannot know, only hope to find an answer as he tries to find himself.
Alternatively: a series of vignettes following Viktor and Jayce after they wake up in an alternate timeline where they travel an untamed land in search of civilization, explore their own relationship, and fall inexplicably back into a love they can finally admit was always there.
