Cassandra stopped in front of him. "I need a favor from you. And it's a big one."
He pursed his lips. "I'm not washing all the kid's jerseys again." He'd done it once and his washroom had smelled weird for weeks.
She chuckled. "No, not that. We need a new coach and-"
"I already told you, I can't."
"I know you couldn't before but now-" She paused dramatically clearly hoping to entice him with her next words. "Now there's someone you could coach with. The two of you could work together, split the work! It won't fall completely on you."
His face broke out into a big grin. "That would be - amazing. Wow." He would love to work with someone, have someone to rely on and bounce ideas off of. And whoever it was must have been as invested as him, maybe their team could finally win a few games. "Who is it? Hayden? That sly dog, he didn't tell me. Or-"
"Rozanov."Or, Shane and Ilya are single parents with sons on the same peewee hockey team, and they don't exactly get along. But when they become co-captains for the team they'll have to learn to work together, both on and off the rink.

The recently crowned King Steven II of Hawaii is rumored to be traveling and no one knows where his ship is headed until a messenger arrives in the Kingdom of New Jersey bearing news of his arrival. But why would the new king want his first foreign trip to be to New Jersey? It's revealed that the king is looking for a consort and his chosen omega, Prince Daniel, is less than impressed. But King Steven is determined to win the Prince around and makes him an offer: give him one week to make his case and if by the end of that time the Prince still isn't interested, then the King will return to Hawaii alone.
One week of courtship seemed like a fair deal. After all, it's not like Daniel was going to change his mind...

He’d tried, he really had, to not interrupt his precious little girl while she told him what she’d done at camp for the past month, but it was too much.
