Oh God, All Might-sensei was going to be so mad! This was so, so bad. If the class knew he had One for All it would put even larger targets on their back than they already had. He’s hoping, praying that he can hold it down but it’s no use.
This is it, this is the moment that all the cover he’s laid down goes to waste, he’s scrabbling at the carpet even as his face begins to purple. His throat was already starting to close and he was beginning to choke as the truth quirk did what it did best– pull out the truth.
Before he can even think he blurts out:
“I catfished Kacchan on Discord for two years in middle school!”

Bakugou would do anything to protect his best friend at ten years old. It's always been them and he's spent the last six years seeing his best friend effectively tortured. When they're ten he decides he's tired of just watching and does something drastic to ensure that Midoriya would never be hurt by his classmates and teachers again.
Midoriya knew he would die very soon. The world wasn't kind to quirkless people, and it'd been trying to kill him since he was a child. He's made his peace with this, after all the only person he cares about or who cares about him is his ten year old best friend. After telling Bakugou they could no longer be friends, Bakugou does something drastic to make sure that wouldn't happen.
This sends them down a road Midoriya had never considered. If the world was cruel to the quirkless...then Midoriya would simply have to change that and build his very. own. Empire.

Then, it’s announced that the award ceremony is going to start but before they can even begin to announce the three winners, Bakugou is already on the move. The stadium is tense, most of them likely nervous he’s about to freak out again in the way he did last year. Especially when his quirk goes off and he’s flying himself up to the section of the stadium where Mei and Izuku are sitting.
Mei flinches backward but Izuku just stands up, undeterred. He’s got the biggest grin on his face and he… opens his arms? Bakugou flies right into them, giving him a hug. He lifts him up from the ground before pressing their lips together; Izuku laughs into the kiss.
Mei’s brain is running wild, trying to figure out when the fuck that happened. At first she thought, well, his boyfriend isn’t going to be happy about that, but then she realized that Bakugou IS his boyfriend. It makes so much sense now that Mei is actually thinking about it.

In which, "where's the trophy? He just comes running over to me," is just Izuku and Katsuki if Izuku was in the support course and Katsuki won the sport's festival.
