Oh God, All Might-sensei was going to be so mad! This was so, so bad. If the class knew he had One for All it would put even larger targets on their back than they already had. He’s hoping, praying that he can hold it down but it’s no use.
This is it, this is the moment that all the cover he’s laid down goes to waste, he’s scrabbling at the carpet even as his face begins to purple. His throat was already starting to close and he was beginning to choke as the truth quirk did what it did best– pull out the truth.
Before he can even think he blurts out:
“I catfished Kacchan on Discord for two years in middle school!”

Lie. He had to lie. Izuku focused on the word ‘yes’. He would lie. He would. Izuku could feel everything in him pushing back. He opened his mouth. “No,” Izuku said.
“Stay,” Mindjack ordered. He moved swiftly to the end of the alleyway and glanced both ways before returning to Izuku. His next words were matter-of-fact, leaving no room for rebute even if Izuku was able to offer one. “Take off your mask.”

Izuku gets to live out his dreams of being a hero, just not the way he imagined it. As an underground hero, he does all he can to right past wrongs and still maintain some semblance of a personal life. Meanwhile, Hitoshi struggles to escape the villain destiny he seems to have been born into.
With the threat of a war on the horizon and identities revealed- their morals and relationship will be put to the test.

Summary
When Hitoshi was younger his parents' jobs meant they had to move every year or so yet despite attending over 5 schools in his life he was bullied in every single one of them. Then he was enrolled in Aldera Junior High and found that the price to fit in was to become the bully which is a price he easily paid. Life was great until he had to move again so the cycle continued. In his next two schools, Hitoshi was bullied but then he got into UA and his past as both bully and bullied was left behind him, at least it was until the sports festival when he finds out that his most frequent victim from Aldera now has an insanely powerful quirk and is a part of UA's hero course. He expects his dreams and/or life to be over but not once does Midoriya Izuku acknowledge their past and it pisses him off.
