Summary
The thing is – Dean’s always had a thing for babes in glasses. He’s also pretty much always had a thing for Cas. These thoughts were, up until this moment, distinct, separate, night and day, Roxy and Jane, never to meet. An angel of the lord surely could have no reason to need glasses.
But Cas is less angel and more human these days. He’s got salt and pepper in his hair and crows’ feet tugging at his baby blues and blood in his veins that's about fifty percent black coffee. He bruises and shits and snores and it’s good. Hell, it’s great. Except for the part where he apparently spends too many hours watching Real Housewives reruns in the dark and has resultantly rotted his corneas away to the point where he had to go and say “Sam? Is that you?” which led to the thick-lensed frames on his face which led to Dean’s current mental emergency. Or something.

It’s been eighteen hours since Cas--left. Eighteen hours of Cas on loop in his head, over and over and over. Cas pressing his lips to Dean’s cheek, Cas, tears in his eyes as he pulls away, Cas, euphoric like Dean’s never seen him before, Cas fading into darkness.

“The real Cas would never--” Dean looks down. Tries to steady his hands where they’re shaking. "He wouldn’t have, okay? I know Cas. You blew it. I’m gonna gank you soon, I just gotta think here for a minute."
“Is it so hard for you to believe that I want you?” not-Cas asks. Dean looks up again, fucking moth to flame, and this thing is looking at him like Dean is breaking his heart. Swallowing over and over like Dean stuck a rock in his throat. It’s too real. It’s too much.

Summary
Post-season 15, in a version where Dean doesn't die and Cas is back from the Empty. Gabriel shows up with some mischief in mind, hurtling them through classic porn tropes. Or,
“You thought, what,” Dean starts roughly, “you'd zap us into porno land and we'd just start going at it?”
“Ding, ding, ding,” Gabriel calls out, pressing his finger to the tip of his nose. “Street-smart’s got it one.”
Cas isn’t connecting the same dots.
Dean seethes through his clenched jaw, “Dude, you’re the babysitter,” and tries like hell to keep the flames from licking up the side of his face, willing away the telltale flush of embarrassment.
All of a sudden, Cas gets it. His eyes widen in understanding and almost automatically drop to Dean's pretty damn bare legs. Just as quickly he snaps his attention elsewhere, looking at the wall, the ceiling, the door where, come to think of it, yeah, Dean wouldn’t mind bailing right about now.
“Cute,” Gabriel teases.
