Okay, so here's the thing: i'm boycotting jkr. It's nothing new, i've been doing for a few years now and thus, i'm not reading harry potter fics anymore as it feels like i'm giving even more power to this woman, than she deserves. However, this fic, ohhhh this fic. The author took the characters and somehow managed to make them more deep and more realistic than jkr ever could. And so as i'm reading it, it doesn't feel like i'm supporting jkr's ideas at all

Summary
The year he comes of age Bilbo accepts that he’ll never meet his print-mate.
In the weeks following that he devours every single book he can about dwarves and he learns a few things. Namely that they’re more secretive than even hobbits and that in all of the books he reads he doesn’t find a single mention of a dwarf having a match with someone who wasn’t a dwarf themselves.
So that’s how it is Bilbo thinks and then he forces himself to get rid of all the books on dwarves and he never says a word when anyone asks him about his print-marks.
