“Agatha Harkness,” Rio smirked, brushing her shoulder length, blonde hair behind her ear, standing in the middle of the room she had built brick by brick. The air of curiosity that hung between them lingered far too long, not one of them knowing who should ask who first.
“It’s been such a long time.” Agatha cocked her head with her words, her blue eyes not once leaving Rio’s. That’s what unsettled the younger woman, she couldn’t quite understand it. Rio stood in the middle of her mansion, built from the hunger and hope to be more than she was, but Agatha didn’t look around. She didn’t glance at the walls, the glass, or the proof. She only looked at her. Rio wanted her to see it, all of it, to offer even the smallest acknowledgement of what she had made of herself.
