Summary
The lives of Ekko and Jinx, ex-childhood best friends, have gone in vastly different directions after their friendship fell apart years ago.

OR: When Ekko sneaks into Silco’s office to save Powder, he doesn’t find his friend, he finds her new self: Jinx. However, with enough persuasion, she agrees to help him build the Firelights, even when under Silco’s wing. Seven years later, Ekko, operating as the leader of the gang, must weigh responsibility and affection while shimmer is spread wildly through the streets. Working as a spy, Jinx must learn to balance her love for her friend and her growing alliance with her enemy. A single misstep, a plain letter, and a simple word is all it takes for her to lose it all.
