    Title from Phoebe Bridgers' "Smoke Signals", and the lovely Genius lyric explanation:
    "The first idiom, “bury the hatchet" means “to make peace” or “end a longstanding conflict”...
    The second idiom in reference is “everything’s coming up roses” which means that things are consistently and repeatedly going well for someone to the point of perfection...
    The use of lavender instead of roses would suggest that after “burying a hatchet” the two were at peace, but things were still not perfect and the outcome was not ideal."
