Ed had had more than his share of heartbreak for this lifetime and he wasn’t going to let it happen again. He wasn’t a love kinda guy. He was a quick fuck in the back of a van, tossed out into the night, and left in the rain kinda guy. The same kinda guy that he had been tossed aside by. But at least that guy was a safe option because Ed already knew there was no danger of being hurt.
