When her upstairs neighbors throw a rager the night before classes start, she storms up to destroy the party and meets Spock, a brilliant Vulcan PhD student who's equally miserable about the noise. What should be a simple one-night stand turns into more as Christine realizes she might have accidentally found the perfect arrangement: regular stress relief with someone who understands that relationships are just unnecessarily complicated. No emotions, no expectations, just really excellent sex with a Vulcan who takes direction very, very well.
Life is perfect. Until it's suddenly not.
