Summary
Sniper nuzzled his face into the back of the doctor’s head and inhaled, smelling his shampoo and sweat and purred happily. The sun was hitting his back from the window and it felt sublime. His hands wandered down to Medic’s waist and hip, appreciating the rolls and curves there despite his lover’s burly frame and over his thigh. Sniper buried his face in the crook of Medic’s neck and purred again, low and groggy from sleep. There wasn’t much grace to the movements, but it didn’t matter.
Sniper smiled wide as he heard a soft giggle from his beloved, feeling the doctor’s body jiggle slightly with the playful sound.

Memories scraped and supplanted. Twist of the scalpel—splat onto the coil burner. Does it count as real when the love comes from a pitch chasm you can’t see the end of?
When you both break and fall and are just scrap on the ground does it feel right? Have you done this before?

Summary
Merasmus curses Medic to have flowers grow in his lungs until he confesses his feelings to the man he's secretly in love with. Easy. Barely a curse. He could do that any time he wants.
Wouldn't it be more interesting, though, to study the disease as it progresses instead? See exactly what it can do? The things he could learn! The team won't mind, right?
(They do mind.)
(Especially Heavy.)
