Summary
The Winchesters found the Colt and killed the YED before Sam left for Stanford. However, John died in the standoff and Sam went off to college anyway, leaving the life and Dean behind. Years later, Dean shows up at Sam's doorstep to continue the revolving door that is their eight year long affair.
It's always like this: Sam finds a hunt, calls Dean, and Dean always answers. Always shows up. But as this new hunt forces Dean to confront his own feelings, he begins to question everything that he and Sam have become. What complicates things even more is that Sam seems to be in greater danger than ever before.
