Their's was not the only world that felt the reset. All the ones awake were aware of it.
It affected the souls in different manners, colours, touches, ways. Some felt their indefatigable tedious lives with incalculable infinitesimal mazes become sweeter, others found it saltier. Sour and embittered.
So, their's wasn't the only world that turned out sweeter, but their's was one of the few that had not turned acerbic , if not burning and mind-numbingly acrid.

Or, the romantic comedy where Dean Winchester and Jo Harvelle are destined to get married, Castiel is given the task of playing matchmaker and fails terribly, the entire Heavenly Host becomes a sitcom audience, God warns against male pregnancy, and Jimmy Novak is incredibly unimpressed with angels in general.
