Summary
Jungkook is smart for his age. He knows this. His Daddy said so. He can see things beyond the mask and hear the truth under lies. It scares his Appa how smart he is that Jungkook decides to stay quiet with his observations.
“Heeyeon nana,” he whispers over his nanny’s story. They were reading The Great Gilly Hopkins that Jungkook got from his Uncle Namjoon.
Heeyeon smiles at him, tucking the boy in her arms. “Yes, Kookie?”
“Do Daddy and Appa love each other?” he innocently asks.
Heeyeon still has the smile but Jungkook could see the confusion swimming in her eyes. “Why yes, of course.”
That is a lie. Like the marriage photos of his parents in the living room or the family picture they took during Jungkook’s first birthday.
Everything is a lie and for the first time, Jungkook realizes that he is not the only one staying quiet with their observations.
Or in which Jungkook discovers that his parents were in an arranged marriage.

“ We are having a baby Joonie.”, Jin whispered. Joon fumbled around to see the tests himself.
Plus signs. All three of them.
He kept staring at them for so long that Jin thought he broke his husband. But then a sharp punch on his shoulder brought him back to reality.
“ Ow! Namjoonah listen!”, but Joon wasn’t having it.
“ It’s all your fault. You Kim Seokjin are the worst.”, Jin escaped and stood behind the bed taking cover.
“ Whoa hey now! It took two people to do this okay. Two very willing people.”, but Namjoon narrowed his eyes instead, clearly still mad.
“ No! It was all you. You couldn’t have waited for like an hour till we reach home."
“ It’s..I don’t know. You were all dressed up and all those alphas and betas kept ogling you as if you were a piece of free meat, when I was standing right next to you. I, Kim Seokjin, your alpha, the father of our three babies.”, Jin rambled.
“ Well, congratulations it’s four now. Kim Seokjin, father of four babies and a jealous piece of shit.”, Joon shrieked.or

“If you’ll look at these charts on my screen share…” Yoongi is saying, narrowing his eyes at his screen as he taps at his mouse.
Namjoon nods along, listening as Yoongi reviews the prospective changes to their budget proposal. Or, well, mostly listening. Because Yoongi in his glasses, squinting at his screen and pouting slightly, is a bit distracting (for reasons Namjoon does not want to consider).
And so is Yoongi’s cat.
He’s sneaky, this cat. Sneaky and mischievous and, honestly, one of the best parts of the frequent meetings they have. Other than Yoongi himself, but Namjoon isn’t going to say that out loud.
He’s cute. The cat, obviously. Namjoon definitely means the cat.
