this is the most like real life genuinely devastating and messy but simultaneously awwwwww- inducing make your heart grow two sizes fic. i don't even ship them like that... this is just such genuinely good fiction that i actually didn't even need to connect it to the real life people in my brain. if you don't read it, you're missing out.
