Summary
Shouto froze next to Jirou. The artist was possibly the most gorgeous man Shouto had even seen. He had curly green hair and bright green eyes, a warmth evident in them even at first glance. He was wearing shorts and a tank top, which let Shouto see the tattoos covering one leg. They were also covering most of his arms, mixed in with scars on his right arm. Upon seeing Jirou he smiled, and Shouto had to pinch himself to make sure he wasn’t dreaming of its radiance.

Shinsou allows himself a selfish, deep breath before saying, “I’m sorry, what?”
Bakugou looks up at him critically. “My heat’s coming up. You’ve got a knot, right? I’m offering you the best lay of your pathetic life.”
God, he’s a brat, but who can blame Bakugou when he looks like that? Bakugou’s hips are so narrow he’d squeeze the life out of a knot. Shinsou’s obviously going to accept, but he makes a show of looking Bakugou over.
“You gonna waste my time pretending to think about it?”
Shinsou smiles so big his fangs dig into his lower lip. “You know I’m not gonna be sweet, right?”

Ochako kneels in the center on the hard concrete floor, hands on her thighs, stony. So far she’s refused to answer—not just this bizarre line of questioning, but anything. The silence itself is a burden, makes Ochako feel like a thing, not a person. But she won’t sell out her comrades, not to a murderer.
“I’m getting impatient,” Toga says, crouching down, angling her head to catch Ochako’s gaze. “Aren’t you tired? I could give you a bath. Let you sleep in a bed. A big fluffy one with so many princess pillows and a canopy. We could have a sleepover!”
Ochako grits her teeth, glances at the hard concrete slab where she spends her nights.
“What do I have to do?”
“Close your eyes.” Toga smiles, gold eyes bright with excitement. “Go on, it’s a game! A guessing game.”

Camie nods. "Totally. He can take it on walks and stuff, so people take pictures of how sweet he is with it!"

"Exactly," Shouto says. "He needs a pet, something noticeable. Big, loud, overly friendly, and always happy…"

Katsuki has a bad reputation. This doesn't bother him, but it bothers a lot of other people—like his manager, his publicist, and most unfortunately, his boss, Best Jeanist.
Shouto has a suggestion. If Katsuki starts dating, and can find it in himself to at least publicly act like he cares about someone else, maybe it could sway the public's opinion of him.
Inasa has a good disposition. Nobody else would willingly agree to date Katsuki, so, obviously, the responsibility falls to him.
Camie has three idiots for best friends, all of whom are in love with each other—and she is going to watch this play out and try not to let them get their hearts broken in the process.

As tensions mount, Shouto finds himself trapped between two levees-- on one side, his kingdom, his blood, and his legacy, on the other, his lovers, his home, and the family that made him theirs. And he has no idea where he will be standing when the floodwaters break.
