Summary
Freshly graduated with a new job, Nicholas suddenly finds himself the sole guardian of his six year-old niece, Sujin - a quiet, grief-stricken child who hasn’t spoken since her mother’s death. He’s exhausted. Unprepared to be a parent. Barely holding it together.
Then one day, Sujin slips from his sight. He finds her in the neighborhood bookstore, quietly nestled beside Euijoo - a soft-spoken, steady bookseller with a gentle presence Nicholas can’t seem to shake.
From there, everything begins to shift.

Maki thinks for a minute and shakes his head, “No, I think your straight rep is pretty strong. Don’t worry.”
“I am gay, though,” Jo says casually, “they’ve got terrible gaydar."
--

Summary
It had been a year since the first body got back up. The first whisper of movement in what was supposed to stay still. A year since the silence after the sirens, since the world folded inward on itself and began to feed on the softest parts. The living had called it infection, or curse, or punishment—whatever word best explained what they couldn’t understand. Harua no longer used any of them. To him, it was just the natural order, rewritten.

Summary
Sometimes—very rarely—when Euijoo would catch the faint scent of chlorine in the middle of the city, drifting off a stranger with a gym bag slung over their shoulder and a beanie pulled low over their head, he felt like throwing up.
— or euijoo's journey of falling in love with swimming, reaching the top, and learning how to start over from the bottom
