Wilhelm thought he was coming over to Simon’s for a studying weekend. (What was he thinking? Those “designated” weekends never went how they were supposed to…) Instead, he was greeted with Simon’s comforting presence, followed by an empty house, decorated with fairy lights, a season-scented candle filling his nostrils with the lovely aroma of pumpkin, fall leaves, and the pleasant smell of the autumn air you sniff when you take a walk in the park. And of course, a home-cooked meal cooked by none other than Simon fucking Eriksson, in the oven.

“Okay, so, this is how the game works,” Wille’s boyfriend said. The school year had ended just mere hours ago for the year, and Wilhelm was celebrating with his boyfriend Simon, Sara, and Simon’s friends Rosh and Ayub.
“Someone will ask a question, starting the sentence with “Never Have I Ever,” then will say a potential experience they never had. If someone has, they take a sip of their drink. Usually, this is done with alcohol, but since this is an alcohol-free house, just sip from a drink of your choosing. If nobody has done it, the questioner takes a sip. If we want to share our story, we can. But, only if they choose to. Y’all ready?” Simon finished.

“Where are we going?” Simon called out to him, as they glided through the trail.
“You’ll see in a few, ӓlsking,” Wille responded, holding his boyfriend’s hand tight.
It was late May. The school year was almost over, and all Wille wanted to do was spend every waking and sleeping moment with Simon. It was also a Sunday. Simon had spent the weekend with him. It was 20:30 and the sky was a fair gray.
Wilhelm guided his lover through the woods and over to a secret spot he had found. He didn’t mean to find this spot but after an infuriating telephone call with his mother, he needed to walk to let off some steam. Thus leading to a part of the woods he’d never been in before. He’d find himself coming to the spot more often recently, alone. But he trusts Simon– so much. So, he’s taking him to his spot for a date.
