When Simon breaks down on Wille's doorstep after dumping his cheating boyfriend, Wille knows exactly what he needs to do. When a mysterious advent calendar suddenly shows up on Simon's doorstep on December 1st, he's not sure what to do about it. All he knows is that whatever journey he's about to walk, he wants to walk it with his best friend.
The only problem is that Wille is so madly in love with Simon, and has been for years. Will Wille be able to tell Simon? Will Simon figure it out? Or will they both start the new year with the same heartbreak they left the old with?

It's been 7 months since Wille and Simon drove away from Hillerska and towards their shared future. Wille deciding to renounce his title at 18 didn't solve all of their problems, but they had built a much more stable and healthy relationship once they were free from the weight of the crown.
Even being long distance, they managed to disgust their friends daily being sickeningly in love. Wille says he can take the teasing - they earned the right to be That Annoying Couple after everything they went through in their first year.
Year 2 is going great though. They have good friends, like their schools, and their relationship is solid. They even have plans to go to university together once they graduate.
They should have known things were going too well. When a bombshell article rocks Sweden just after Christmas, everyone's world turns upside down.
The Royal Court is exposed. The people are revolting. And Wille and Simon don't know what to do, but at least they'll do it together, right?

Simon Eriksson and Wille Oscar, teammates on the McLaren F1 team, start the 2025 season having entered into a secret sex pact together. After each race, whoever performs better gets to do whatever they want to/with the other - except penetrative sex - in the hopes of improving their professional relationship as teammates and their personal performance on the track. After the season has concluded, whoever has the most points gets to choose exactly what they do to celebrate, and nothing, except their previously discussed exceptions, is off the table.

Wilhelm doesn't exactly have a precedent for violence, but he still ends up punching a guy in the face and subsequently being sent off to a remote boarding school far from where he can embarrass the Crown. But much to Wilhelm's surprise, Hillerska has more than crushing rules and constantly watching eyes. It has Simon. And Simon is someone that brash, rebellious, family-disappointment Wilhelm never could of dreamed up.
Disaster, of course, ensues.
