Summary
Astrid, to no ones surprise, is the fiercest warrior her age on Berk. After Hiccup was carried off and killed nine years ago by a dragon - she and Berk have never been the same. Then, three years ago, her life was shaken again by a masked rider who appeared during the raids upon the unholy offspring of lightning and death. The rider somehow aids the dragons and the village.
While most of the village speculates whether the rider is a demon from Hel, Astrid realizes something that shatters her worldview. If someone can ride a dragon, then everything they know about them is wrong.
